Elite Dangerous , The Pits ....

No its not a flame or anything I am referring to the original Kickstarter comment page that is now filled with offensive abuse and slander that needs to be removed..
Time to get the the users of the Pits shut down guys ..... or at least the crap deleted up to the day of funding and then frozen as a tribute to all of us that that appreciate your efforts..

Because im not letting go.....This is an insult to everyone here who are happy and paid good money for Elite Dangerous.
I went back to the ED kickstarter tonight because 2 years ago to the day had some meaning for me .....its like someone has trashed our roots

This is the internet, people will find ways to post their complaints, there or anywhere else.

Well if I posted comments like that here the thread would be closed......That means freedom of speech when convenient.....Still not happy

Why are people even posting on the KS page in the first place? Why don't they do it here or via PM/support? Surely they would get better feedback than posting on a page that should have died as far as updates are concerned over a year ago?

I disagree, there are very long comments that aren't just a rant. You can't deny the fact that there are a good amount of people who are upset. Deleting these comments would not make anything better but more look like hiding the dirt...

awww can't we leave it, its like a never ending comedy routine! there are posts on there saying that without the £20 they pledged the KS would never of hit its funding target so they wouldn't have been disappointed by no offline mode

its right there on the page that the KS not only hit its target but also reached a further stretch goal so its hilarious that they think the small percentage of people who pulled out post offline gate would have made that big a difference, talk about delusions of grandeur lol

I don't think project owners can delete comments (would be a bad thing for KS to allow, if you think about it). And deleting such comments would lead to further accusations...

Nice pick, that is clearly *not* the majority of the comments there and the single sentence you've picked doesn't reflect the whole posting which is part of a longer conversation there.

I have to say you are right.....I kind of saw the top one scrolled down fast to many others similar......but yes there are constructive ones in between...and stupid ones ...like " The games released they didn't send me an email I cant download it "
I mean please.....SERIOUSLY..... you would want a refund for that ?
Its not to difficult to work out what to do without joining a rebellion ..

The only way to close a KS project page is if there is an Intellectual Property dispute.

That's it, no other options, no moderation of comments, nada, zip, rien, diddly.

Its there for ever more as it is (unless there is an IP dispute)

No FD is stealing money and your ok with it because it is not your money.

Folks should know what FD is doing.

The Mods have banned anyone listing how FD has treated them, even when just facts are posted.

I have had a Issue in for over 2 weeks and not a peep.

Saying this will get me a warning at the least, that is how they do things.

CS at FD is really lacking they really need someone to be hired to fix the mess they have created, but would rather throw money in to contests than at fixing things that are broke.

Good luck everyone who is still being shorted and not allowed to post what is happening to you here.

Funny will not let be post this at all now.

Well if im banned then I am..........At least I did it for the right reasons......Not because I am accusing FD of Theft.....If your entitled to your money back then im sure you will get it.
If not then you wont.... I backed SC before it was announced 64bit only...That's the way it panned out...I spend money to upgrade or lose out....Things change in Development.

But my original rant was the beloved Kickstarter ..... If nothing can be done then that's the way it is
