I'm tempted to say Sound Design (it's amazing!) but honestly, it's the theory-crafting that gets me - even when I'm not playing Elite, I'm thinking about what I'm gonna do when I finally get back to it

Yea ive way to many builds saved on Coriolis. My fleet wld be so huge with so many special ships.. But Mod storage and the grind limits me to putting them ingame.. so i end up more on the Theory than the crafting part sadly..
Love the flightmodel, sound and overall atmosphere of ED

When I drive around on the surface my SRV leaves tracks on the ground. I have sat on the surface many times to watch a sunrise and the odd solar eclipse in real time. Flying into a Lagrange Cloud the first time worried I'd get eaten by some space monster. Wear and tear on ships (I know it is not perfect but they could've just ignored it all together) Dust when I land and more dust in a bigger ship or High G world, again they could have just done some cheap ar$e loop, but didn't. I can honestly say I have not sunk as many hours into any other game ever.

I wish this were actually a thing. Having experienced this in Subnautica, I can tell you it really ramps up the intensity of the game!
