Elite Dangerous | Trailblazers - New Stations Operational Delay

Appears that while stations are "active" as in "have missions", "do not have the construction skins anymore", "station interior active", there are still some things missing.

Missing things:
  • market with supply / demand. And by supply / demand i do not mean the poop & gas meta, but i mean "any supply/demand at all"
  • shipyards not activated
  • outfitting not activated
 
i presume these construction sites disappear once an installation becomes active? I've had a couple of installations on my starter system which have been in limbo for a while saying construction complete but no access and construction site still hanging about.

The construction sites should be getting cleaned up but sometimes aren't.

Installations don't have docking pads and sometimes have a trespass zone defined, so "no access" is normal for them.

Since the release of Trailblazers, we have seen an impressive number of stations and outposts built by the community. However, this has had a significant impact on our weekly maintenance cycle, as each new station requires time during maintenance to become fully operational. As a result today's maintenance cycle was going to be significantly longer and we made the decision to bring the game back online.

The remaining stations will be made operational next week. While we are in Beta, we will continue to monitor this data to continuously improve Trailblazers.

Can we get an update from FDev as to the catchup of activating stations. I have some new facilities I built this week that do not seem fully online. It would be nice if FDev communicated on continued delays or positive confirmation that system tick cycles are actually caught up with colonization efforts.

I thought from what I had seen in the feedback threadnaught that those activations were tied to things like tech level, happiness and probably all the other scores that get influenced by what installations/hubs etc that have been built.

Security 16, Tech Level 14, Wealth 40, Standard of Living 23 and Development 39 should be enough for all of that.
That's why i did not list "Universal Cartographics".
The market is also a 1.8 Refinery, 0.6 Extraction and 0.45 Agricultural market.

My Coriolis and two settlements have been activated, They waited two weeks. But the market was poor and remains so. But one installation still has a construction site.

Nope my outpost instead got deleted, I'm assuming it will be back at some point but I've given up on this failure of an attempt to implement a beta feature.

Yesterday, with 76% of the materials for my primary port delivered, by me alone, I docked at my colonization ship and logged off. I got back on today, and I'm docked at a primary port with the scaffolding and the "Under Deployment" signs everywhere. I've put out no calls for help delivering the mats, so thanks to whoever decided to do almost a quarter of the work, and I didn't push any button to build the station. Is this normally how it goes?

I am still listed as the architect and I can now add more constructions, so it hasn't glitched out completely....

Yes, this is normal. Someone must have completed it for you. The new station will stay under deployment for a period of time, after which it will become fully operational.

Also, check the station notifications - somewhere in among all the top 5 bounties etc. it should show contributors so you will know who to thank for completing the station
 
Youre in que, someone is manually activating them every thursday during maintaince. It only lasts for 4 hours so probably one person can't handle all the stations in that time.
 
Creamer Town is still not active.
I´ve got a whole system (Astro-Base, Planetary Port, several planetary Installations) which since three weeks misses out on the weekly tick - all still "under developement" - guess FDev (to minimize Thursdays downtime) only bothers about systems with active contructions - as another of my systems which was build much later - was updated last Thursday.
They really next Thursday should shut down for as long as needed (and if its the whole day) to get rid of all that backlog. It will only get worse....
 
I built a bunch of satellites since finishing my Orbis 3-4 weeks ago. One of my wingmates is having the same issue in which their stuff is not being updated at the weekly tick.

Honestly, I'm well past the point of participating in this live beta. I just parked my Cutter and went to go slap some Imps at the CG and prepare for the Corsair.
