Remember when it used to have updates, patches & play-through of new content? Now it has 'send us photos of your cat'. I'm sure there's a conclusion to be drawn in that transition somehow, but I'll leave it to others determine it.

With other ED related twitter accounts being banned by our computer overlords for talk of killing Thargoids, I think it is obvious the AI threat is rearing its head again. I suspect they've taken over the official ED twitter account and are trying to placate us with cute pictures of animals before delivering a death blow of some sort.

I hate to say it, Reddit, Twitter, Xtra all have become screenshot slideshows. While the first shot of a neutron star is fine, the sixth is not. Hopefully FD are working hard on these new engaging CG / story hybrids that will make us talk about the actual events in the game, and not trigger months of 'found my first moon- yay!' sub standard content.

I mean, Patreus shot someone in the face a few weeks ago, nutters have nukes, the Thargoids are eating babies and the bubble is on fire. 'Big that up' rather than another cat photo.
