Want to test your metal in a 1v1 hack free environment
Then you might be what I'm looking for
Im planning an upcoming tournament between the best players I can find (based on combat rank)
There will be 8 participants who will duel in 4 battles leaving 4 winners, then those 4 will face an opponent leaving only 2 and a winner to be declared as the champion
All battles will take place on a viper only, how much you spend on it is up to you
I will be recording the battle in a sidewinder but there is the obvious question of hacking and battle rules so here they are
1. All contestants must record the entire fight, no exceptions, these will be sent to me and merged into the youtube video, this is to spot any obvious hacks or cheats if one player wins in a matter of seconds and isn't able to provide a video, they will be disqualified and their opponent wins by default
2. Combat logging, if any player disconnects they are disqualified, no exceptions, well there is one, if everyone is having issues then a rematch may be issued
3. There is no surrender, you win or you die, running away to recharge shields Ect is allowed but leaving the instance is counted as a loss
4. Do not fire at the cameraman, I won't get too close but check your targets
5. Any attempt to party crash will result in a rematch being issued, on a second offence both players are disqualified if it can't be determined who brought friends, so if any other player ships turn up the battle is voided instantly (the battle will take place somewhere of my choosing and will be a different location for each match)
6. You give consent for your videos to be merged and used to create an overall battle video from each players perspective and for it to be used in any hacking allegations, although a winner is declared on the spot at the time of a win, ALL videos WILL be studied over the following days to determine anything suspicious
7. Be prepared to lose, if you don't have insurance that's your own fault
The prize for the overall winner is a cargo hold full of goods either from my clipper (if I can get one by then) or a type 7 (which I can easily afford right now) equalling around 1 million in value
Or I'll get 1 million bounty in illegal cargo and you can claim it from me if you win the tournament
However as those chosen will be the highest rank in combat that I can find are avaliable on the day, you probably won't need the cash and do it for the glory
What you need to do to enter for a chance to fight:
Submit a screenshot of you right side panel, proof of fighting rank
Be able to record, bandicam Is a nice free program that allows infinite time to record
Be avaliable on a Saturday around 12-4 Uk time
Have a viper and be ready to travel to the designated battlefield and meet with me and your opponent
The battle will take place in a quiet system and I will inform the players where to go(adding me on friends will help with instancing correctly)
The battle can take place near the sun, in a planet ring or asteroid field so be prepared for other dangers in the environment
Right now I'm looking to find interested parties and anyone who wants to contribute to the rules feel free to make suggestions
No date is set, but looking to start a few of the battles in about a month (4 weeks)
This gives people time to prepare and think about it and for me to find the best 8 fighters I can
