Elite Dangerous VR keeps asking me to register.

I didn't know where else to post this but I need help. I just purchesed Elite Dangerous VR through the Oculus store and it told me to register. I followed all the instructions. I removed my headset and filled out the registration page that it opened in my browser. I then closed the browser page as it told me to do and opened the game again through the Oculus app before putting on my headset like it told me to do. I then got a window popping up that showed me that I need to register while opening the register page again on my browser. I've logged in to the Fronteer website, linked whatever accounts it told me to link, checked my Emails to make sure I didn't miss anything there, sent them my left kidney priority post and still it tells me to register. What am I doing wrong?

On top of that, I can't seem to log in to the Fronteer website at all. There doesn't seem to be a way to contact help and even if I could, apparently it'll be at least a week before they'll even think about giving me a reply.

Same issue here - did anyone have a solution?

This really sucks since I own ED both on steam and the oculus store and neither want to work. Will someone at Frontier show they care about their customers please?
I'm using the quest 2 with oculus link cable.

I purchased Elite Dangerous via Oculus. Popped my Quest 2 VR on and got ready to play. Upon pressing the play button within VR, I got a message saying that I need to register.

So I registered via the Elite/Frontier website, then pressed "Link Account". Success! I got a message saying that I should now try to load the game again. Upon pressing the play button again in my VR, I got the SAME message saying that I need to register.

And so on, and so on...

Edit - the OP explained the exact issue in pretty great detail... no?

Also, this issue doesn't have anything to do with Steam, as far as I know. It was a purchase on the Oculus store. Seems like a handful of people have had this problem, too!

Here's the message I get when I login to the Frontier website (as the Oculus store tells me to do)

THANK YOU

Please keep your headset removed until you've logged in via the Elite Dangerous desktop launcher.
Click 'REMEMBER MY PASSWORD' within the Elite Dangerous desktop launcher to automatically run the game without having to remove your headset in the future.

It seems there are quite a bit of us who have bought this game and are unable to play it. Has anyone thought of filing a class action lawsuit?
