Why is a UK company charging more in its local region than in rest of Europe (£22.50), and the gap is greater still in the US where they pay even less (£20)?

I know some poorer countries get cheaper prices, but the US???? and it is not like there are shipping costs.

Or is this something forced by Microsoft?

Thanks for your thoughts. That is a slight argument for the US maybe, but I thought taxes in many parts of Europe were at least on a par with Blighty?

Even then tho, the cost differential is greater than 20%........ maybe it is just an easy maths thing.
