Is there an ability to turn off vibration on the Xbox One controller from the game? There is no such an option on system preferences of console, only for Elite gamepads.

yes, you can do it in "miscellaneus" in Options menu.

As posted just above me, yes it is possible via the Misc under Options. Annoying when you expandand the Miscelaneous section, the option to disable "buzz" (as it's now known for the Xbox One!) is hiding off the screen further down the list.

Made my batteries last so much longer whilst exploring and jumping so much!!
