Elite Exploration Rank issue

Right, iv a slight problem, I haven't been keeping track of my exploration rank in a long time, however noticed something strange, When Odyssey landed I was brought straight to around 50% of Elite 1.....however it has not moved since, I have looked around and it has been said alot of places that Elite 5 would take approximitly 1,900,000,000 credits of exploration data to reach from the very first starting rank since odyssey i have racked up about 500m+ and not one bit of progress, I should adleast be at the end of Elite 3.........

So far my exploration earnings are 1,415,442,735 at Elite 1, somethings not right, iv been around the galaxy with thousands of first mapped including Metal rich, neutrons, black holes also, I have a friend who is Elite 3 with a little less earned and hardly any first discovery's has the update somehow capped and broke my player progression???

You're missing a few zeroes in those figures.
From Pioneer to Elite the rank increase has always been about 1% per 1 million Cr data sold.
When EDO launched I tried it, and saw that one time selling of about 1,100,000,000 Cr worth of data got me to Elite III. Another one got me up to Elite V.

You're missing a few zeroes in those figures.
From Pioneer to Elite the rank incrase has always been about 1% per 1 million Cr data sold.
When EDO launched I tried it, and saw that one time selling of about 1,100,000,000 Cr worth of data got me to Elite III. Another one got me up to Elite V.

yes i have edited that part, look at my earnings and the fact iv been stuck in elite 1 midway at 1,415,442,735, 500m+ of which was recent however no progression (I screwed up the post numbers lol) I was at just under 1billion post Odyssey

Yeah, Its been at this same point on my rank bar in the panel since release, I just only noticed....why hasnt it moved lol Il definitly know when I return again as I have about 1bil of data currently stacked on ship as I went on a mystery tour for the last few months since release and found lots of undiscoverable, might log a ticket with this but waiting until I cash in first incase some data gets lost (This happened before when they fixed an issue for me)

Rank is also affected by what version you are playing. If you swap into Horizons for the mats, and then swap back to Odyssey, it can sometimes take hours for your rank to become accurate again. Third party sites can also become confused.

Just for recoed: I sold my data in EDH, was afraid EDO would mess things up.
Tried EDO the next day & saw that prestige rank, took me completely by surprise.

Yeah iv heard this, I havnt been swapping versions though never did to be honest unless i get stuck on a planet which hasnt happened in a long time for me, The earning values are from ingame stats and so is the rank bar that isnt moving so something definitely wrong for me

The profit was raised from 900m since odyssey release however the rank progress has not increased with it

Right, iv a slight problem,

I've been having a ranking problem too. Have over 3.5 billion in exploration profits..over 1.5 million light years, over 113K lvl 2 scans.....and for some reason I am stuck on Elite 3. I've handed in over a billion in last two days alone and haven't moved a percent - yet a mate that did a sag A round trip made Elite 5 from scratch. shrugs...getting a bit demoralised tbh.
