I would like to shout out a warning to all commanders.
This game is extremely dangerous, the name is appropriate and eventually does not stress enough how dangerous it can be.
Well, it was for me :/
Now, how cool is it to be able to travel around our galaxy?
I bet most of you cannot avoid, in a starry night (in RL), to wonder if there might be a profitable route between that tiny star that just pops out from the horizon and that other one, slightly higher in the sky...
I played a bit with astronomy about 25 years ago, and gave up for different reasons (including issues with my eyes).
Now, Elite made me remeber how much I used to love astronomy (whcih does nt imply I was ever good at it).
Next thing you know, I am just back from downtown where I ordered a Maksutov Cassegrain 150/1800 and a motorized EQ mount.
Ouch, that hurts!
Be advised, that might happen to you too!
And btw, fly responsibly because I might be soon able to spot you loitering in Proxima Centauri.. well, sort of.
