Looks like the only thing missing is the first type of Acornsoft Elite badge - the silver wings logo on a black square background.

Maybe it should have only been issued when you achieved elite or a tipple one for tipple elite. Like in the Original it would mean something and be cool. Going to buy combat medals from the antique shop is not quite the same as having earnt is it?
Has anyone achieved Elite in CQC?
I think there are a few quadruple Elites knocking around, but not many!
My badge stayed in the KS box for the first 3 years, until I earned my first Elite (I’m not a believer in “grind”
) - I suppose the modern equivalent to the old badges are the ship decals, I think it’ll be a few years before I finally get my last Elite for the triple badge.I’m revisiting the earlier games in the series as I never got beyond Competent in any of them - I made Elite in the ZX Spectrum version a few weeks ago and I’m a fair way into FE2 now; I hope that one day I might manage hexad Elite (CQC depends too much on other players, I reckon).
