OK, this question has been answered with regards to Horizons, but what about beyond that?
Let me first add that I am most grateful that Elite even exists for the Xbox and I do enjoy playing the game immensely. So first allow me to say thank you for your work and the contributions of the backers.
Here are a few questions I'd like to ask, however.
We have still to receive ship skins and keep being told "soon". Any update on this?
Horizons will come later as expected, but when it lands will the PC be even further ahead than the Xbox or are their plans to balance out the partity between both considering we're logged into the same universe? I appreciate that Xbox is at all receiving Horizons, but as it stands the lack of parity is a problem.
Example...
I'd tried to hunt a bounty target on the bounty list shown on the Xbox only to discover the last known location doesn't exist on the Xbox - it's a planet based settlement.
We read about the Barnacles but have no means to participate. I've declined exploring on the Xbox specifically because the farther out systems would have nowhere to land, which takes from the charm of seeing beautiful planets (non atmosphere based).
I know that Xbox players are enjoying Elite ahead of Mac players, so I do not wish for this to be perceived as a strict complaint. I know that Playstation 4 players (myself included) are missing the game entirely. That controller speaker would be awesome for ship comms, too.
Basically my question to FD is, will the console players ever start seeing a true parity between Elite on PC and the Xbox/PS4, or will we have to accept the lag, if even future content becomes at all available period? Any hope? Any word?
Thank you kindly.
