Elite / Frontier Elite Forever Fansite...Final Preview...Help appreciated

Your website is missing a giant counter, like the one in London that counted down to the Olympics... You should count down the days till say ... March 15 2014 as a guess (half way through the month covers it either way...)?

Now theres an idea :)
Il have to look into that ...Cheers Kipper !!

That is the final episode of the 'Brits Who Made the Modern World' Documentary series which focussed on David Braben and Elite.

I have it in much higher quality than those youtube links.

You might also be interested in the final episode of the 'Games Britannia' Documentary series which also focussed on Elite but it's far less interest than the one above.

@nomarch any chance of posting up some links :)

As for the fansite, i strongly advise having a section for modding and downloads. this is because one of the main reasons players trawl the internet for any PC game is to locate extra stuff, usually mods. If u did this then u will find a lot more people use your site

Update coming shortly with requests added..

Understand what your saying about mods downloads etc but right this second for me its focusing on elite dangerous...Mods etc i did have in mind for later but if i add links to FFED3D i would be pointing people to a site that has no mention at all about elite dangerous that i can see.....

What do you guys think

That's a cracking looking site you've started there.
Makes my effort look like a bag of spanners, but there you go

Have to stand up for you here Steve: all new sites welcome and Synchromesh's is great, but yours has been around as long as I've been on the forum (that's a very long time!): always updated, links to the latest projects, gives practical advice, love the astronomy focus....it has been a beacon in the long dark years. Thanks for keeping the faith (like Geraldine!) all these years.
