Elite / Frontier Elite / Frontier Merchandise - Was any ever released?

I was wanting to know if any merchandise for Elite / Frontier was ever released, and if there is any merchandise still for sale somewhere. I was hoping to buy a badge or pin with the Elite wings logo if one was released?.

There was this T-Shirt competition which ran a while back http://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1505&page=2

Nothing else lately though :(

Still looking for a pink sequined one! :p

Thanks, I was hoping there might have been some stuff released back in the day which might be still available somewhere. I was hoping to pickup a badge or Pin with the ELITE logo and wings . Im planning to build a micro sized video game cab using hardwood and metal which will be ELITE themed. The badge or Pin would have been put on the sides. Its a strange one I know.

I built a micro arcade themed with Mortal Kombat which is here:

(I dont sell these anymore by the way)

I want to make the ELITE themed one out of Wood and metal a bit like a mini version of the following with ELITE side art (was hoping to use an ELITE badge if one existed) :

I have always loved ELITE so I want to make this ELITE themed micro cab as a hobby.

That's so cute! :D
As for a badge, have you thought about perhaps making a mould and using epoxy?
Perhaps you ment some thing like this http://wouter.bbcmicro.net/pictures/software/
Maybe you could contact an actual badge making firm, but I don't think they would be so keen on doing a low volume run

Where you could find a original badge these days is anyone's guess :S

What version of Elite do you think you would use?

Ahhh, it's like dangling a carrot in front of me. Yes those would have been great. If only they wernt so rare. Ahhh.

I dont fancy my craft skills in creating a mould which would be of any quality , I might have to find something as close as possible.

I've been tempted on several occasions to get a local company to print up a T-Shirt or two with the Elite logo, or an Elite ship or two on it...

We'll I think it's about time Frontier ran another comp to win a T-Shirt (maybe a pink sequinned one???)

Mine's still tucked up safe and sound

Grrr. What's the point of having a t-shirt and not wearing it? It's like having a car and never driving it

I see the Oolite boys have been on that shapeways site.

Do like the Asp model  and how about a nice pair of Cobra MK3 cufflinks.

I do wear it Steve, just not very often, my history with ruining T Shirts is long and painful

Ah, my mistake :(

I think it's Steve O B who keeps his in a hermetically sealed capsule within a temperature and humidity controlled bomb-proof vault in the Bank of England.

Probably :D

Think you might be right there Steve, I heard it's guarded by the New Zealand SAS (just a rumour though) :D....although......when you come to think about it, it took over 20 years for FD to run a comp to win one of our T-shirts, that makes them quite rare...... I may ask Steve if he's got some space in his vault :D:D:D

I can neither confirm nor deny these rumours... I can however confirm that the outside of my body has never touched the inside of the T-Shirt and nor will it. I kinda have a rule about wearing items of clothing branded with either computer games or software/hardware house labels... However there is something to be said for having the bragging rights of owning such a limited edition item... if only to the five or six of us that frequent this forum... :D

I completely agree with keeping official merchandise (especially those produced in very limited quantities or never sold retail) in pristine condition.

While not as classic as Elite merchandise, I still have a sealed Nintendo event tour T-shirt and Beechfield "Nintendo DS Lite" branded baseball cap (not sealed, but never worn) after I saved a Nintendo event by bringing a cable they needed.

I don't wear the t-shirt that came with FE2...but then it is XL. Why do companies do that? I can't believe XL is the average? (I'm XXL in case you're wondering ;) ) just kidding.
