Elite Galaxy Online has now been updated to v1.7.9.
This update is mainly to get things ready for a big 1.8 update I am working on where I am hoping to add an Orrery, however there's a bunch of improvements/optimisations in this release as well which are worth checking out.
I've not posted on these boards about Elite Galaxy Online for a long time so for those that have not seen the site before here's a quick overview of what it is.
It's a website for explorers that allows you to record any discoveries you make out there in the Galaxy. Objects can be recorded manually or with the help of the scanner which will scan a screenshot of your objects to record the important statistics, age, orbital period etc
It automatically tracks a bunch of records such as hottest class M star, widest rocky rings around an Earth Like etc and there's the research facilities where you can analyse the data.
We have over 14,000 objects recorded now but with a push I reckon we can hit 20,000
