sure all you veteran explorers know about this website, but I just discovered it. My mind is blown. All of the real-time data parsing and a 3D orrery viewer??!?! I mean is it just me? But I feel like all of these tools should be in-game. The community never ceases to amaze me. But it's also a bit depressing. Every time I discover some community app like this, or Coriolis, etc... It makes me realize how under-developed and half-done the user-experience is in Elite.

At least in Launcher All my new Exploration , Ship Builds ( coriolis is 30% play the game for me. I can spend hours ) and locations of my vessels, GalNet news (full articles) All in launcher. Launcher should be Responsive Fullscreen ( 2017 year )

Yes, a lot of the services currently provided by 3rd party tools should have been in the game - BUT... then you wouldn't have the freedom of choice, and the in-game service would probably never cover the variety of needs as well as all the 3rd party tools do. Depending on what a CMDR's preferences are one can currently select the service(s) which best suits the needs, and can even actively interact/participate in their development. I think it has become a win-win situation long ago, especially since FD have started/continued providing us additional data to process.
