Hi All

This is my first post, so Hi everyone! :)

Just a wild idea but it would be amazing to me if an add-on could be developed that would have side missions for Elite Dangerous in the underground mining installations on other planets like in Descent if anyone remembers that space game. It had the best multilayer battles ever.

I've bought Descent from GOG and have been having a blast and thought it would be a great idea. Anyway Cheers :)

That really was our game of choice in the Glasgow University Physics Building.

Yes, such missions would be interesting, flying through a large underground complex or within a massive superstructure. :cool:
And yes, the Descent games were great, which reminds me about DXX-Rebirth. One for those of you who have the original games. :)

Descent 2 has such good memories. The in-game music really pumps you up and gets the adrenaline flowing like no other game to my memory. :smilie:

Ahhh. Descent. There was a game of skill. Thanks for the reminder. I imagine FD won't dumb down the combat so looking forward to lots if descent type action in hollow asteroids and around debris fields at some point...

might be nice if some asteroid bases were put in huge mined out asteroids, with lots of inter-connecting pathways - from the old mining operations.

might be fun fighting pirates in such a confined space. extra shield energy would be in order for sure.

just no 'star wars giant worms in space' please!
