There is some suspicion the guy isn't genuine.... however, lots of people out there and the ol' Hutton joke is done a lot on new players... soooo.....
If you read the comments, it's more that the article is being vague as always. It took him just as much time to get to Hutton as everyone else, but due to internet hiccups he spent six hours on the journey. Also check the comments for some of our more "famous" commenters from hear doing what they do best

I think all that case was clearly tongue in cheek, I actually liked comic posted at reddit
