Elite Launcher keeps crashing

Getting a bit worried about my pc, recently I've had a number of BSoD's and most of the time the Elite Launcher is open at the time. Coupled with this, the Elite Launcer has been crashing a lot, probably over the last couple of months actually. Before this everything was very stable.

In fairness Firefox has crashed a few times as well, but generally the Elite Launcher has been open at the time. Any thoughts? Its a bit unsettling.

Assuming I may have a corrupt data file or something similar causing the problem, does anybody have any advice on reinstalling the Launcher without having to download and re-install the entire game?




P.S.
Question - If the Launcher has done its job and launched the game, why would it then crash maybe an hour later - isn't it just sitting there doing nothing? :-/
