Thirty one years ago, I powered up my new Commodore 64 and 5.25" Floppy drive. I had bought one game with the computer from the local electronics store in New York.

When I ran the game, this is what I saw.

I was thrilled then, and still listen to this little gem of early game music today.

Brings back memories of the arcade game "Asteroids" one of my favorites. And I thought I had a real PC with my Intel 286.

Thanks for sharing that CMDR, I don't remember the BBC Micro version having a musical introduction, but it was quite a long time ago ��

This shows the evolution of the game but also the genuine and firm original concept back in the 80's.
