about 2.600 kills in combat zones
about 400.000.000 million earned in combat and still
deadly... I really need that 10% insurance on parts :]

What should I expect? Grind more combat zones? 5000?

Potential correction:
You have 10.000 bounties, not kills in bounties. If you use KWS,one kill can generate multiple bounty vouchers.
Also, did you fly in wings? In that case, every kill was shared and only a fraction added to your skill counter.
I hunt solo, after noticing this and prefer conflict zones.

When did you reach deadly? Elite usually requires twice as much skill points than deadly.

Conflict zones is the best way I found, at least while staying clean.

Are you dead set on getting the Elite rank in combat ? It's much easier to obtain the exploration or even the trading Elite rank, jus' sayin'

I have 6300 cz and 2400 bounties. I made deadly at about 3200 cz and 2000 bounties. I figure I am 1000 cz kills away from elite in combat, but I am at 250 million trading profits. Making 5 million an hour is 150 hours to elite in trading. 1000 kills should be no more than 30 hours. Still not looking forward to it.

You are clearly joking sir. The combat Elite is waaaay the easiest. Some people even got it AFK in Capital Ship Zones. Either way its less time than the others.

What does open have to do with it? Its not based on PvP. I play open and solo, but most of my combat zones are in solo as I have crappy adsl and the lag with more than 1 or 2 commanders around is unbelievable.
