I know most of you guys are really cool and know about this already, but I'm late to the party and just found this book.

Elite: Reclamation by Drew Wagar

I'm only halfway through so no spoilers!!

I want to know if everything in this book is canon, also how can I build an Eagle ingame to roleplay flying the Talon.

Its a great read, i also have the audible version too.
Ive followed both story's by flying the appropriate ships to each setting, there isn't really a ship build for each one but you can get hints (load out etc) from the books.
I just used a stock Viper (its still parked in Prism).

UPDATE: I have finished the book and HOOOOOOOLY

When Hassan and Salome were gonna blow the escape pod canopy to get a guarantee'd escape I was already screaming. AND THEN THE COBRA COMES SKIMMING BY MY DUDE LUKO SAVING THE DAY. That's the most hype I've been in a story in a while.
The Cobra was the first ship I went to after sidey and I LIVED in that machine for a while.
I absolutely loved this entirely and now I have this whole new angle on Formadyne Rift to think about.

anyways, you say theres another book? Premonition

Its just my opinion, just like me saying LOTR is the best book ever written or Blade Runner the best film, either way i have pretty much all of Drew's work, he's an amazing writer.

Yeah I know... But I've read Reclamation, Premonition, and the first in Drew's other series (Emanation) which actually has a pretty cool plot and concept. And to be honest Premonition seemed like a hodge podge mix up of things. I means its not bad that it does what he was hired to do... Telling of the current events in game in an entertaining manner.

But I liked Salome's character growth in Reclamation more than Premonition.

I just realized I did not answer your question.

Yes the book is canon as per FDEV themselves.
