Why would there be one? Fallout is a much bigger and better known game franchise than Elite. As an RPG there is also more lore to mine. There are far bigger games for producers to chose before they even come around to Elite.

And yet no one is coming to Frontier for the rights to make a series, but someone did for Fallout. 
I think it was the publisher himself, because at the end of April there will be an anniversary and there will even be a patch for Fallout 4, I think by this date and the series is coming out.And yet no one is coming to Frontier for the rights to make a series, but someone did for Fallout.
