Elite Should Be Included With The Rift CV1

Hi all,

I've yet to try it because i'm still waiting for my DK2, but from everything i've read and watched and have been playing Elite for the last 3 months it's the perfect match.

By the time the CV1 comes out Elite will be one year old and Frontier will still be able to make money from it because Expansions are coming out and you can buy cosmetic items from the Frontier store. It would be great business for both companies.

That's just my opinion.

I think the single player combat missions could be released as a demo to help encourage sales of the game. I'm certainly Frontier could get a lucrative agreement with Oculus to package it with all rifts.

I imagine they're more focused on making the game right now though

Yes, I agree with that. They already have the solo missions available from the alpha and beta, should be easy to create a build based on that that only has these missions and can be given out for free like a demo.

Oculus are (or were?) a publishing partner for Eve Valkyrie so there may be a reason for them to want to push that more. However, by all accounts Valkyrie is more like Unreal Tournament in terms of gameplay so perhaps there's enough distinction between the two for Oculus to want to push ED too.
