do regulars actually have 'display signatures' enabled?

usually first thing i disable when i register on a forum, i never understood this thing. who wants to read a page of text littered with ads, repeated ad nauseam?

just like elite, 2.0 was when the web started to go all wrong. i miss usenet so much ...

I have to hav sigs turned off to enable my blue moderator flair of doom.

Shame cause I like sigs, mine is just a feeble attempt to get more twitter followers... so far it hasn't worked.
