elite solo mode (not a rant but a question)

Hi.
Later on i plan to have a good session in elite. So far I only play in all, however a mate of mine needs to update his entire steam library on my internet.

can i expect solo mode to work ok with this going on in the background - i only have adsl2 internet - or will i need to play something else over this period?

open would be fine. Solo would definitely be ok.

Hit ctrl + b in game and you can see how much the game is using. Unless there are players around it will be 0-50 b/s

For the most part it should work fine in Solo mode, other than maybe the occasional lag when entering a system.

ED isn't internet intensive at all when playing in Solo mode.

Check out the bandwidth via Ctrl+B while in-game.

Solo needs about 2 to 3 megabytes bandwidth an hour so you should be fine!
