Too busy trying to stop forum members killing each other.
Given that there's no death in the normal game, everyone could become elite eventually if it was only about kills. That is why I am hoping for additional criteria based on skill . For example, an elite pilot might need to get 80% of shots on target as well as destroying >6000 ships. I also hope that each kill is rewarded according to the difference on combat rating.
While I would like many people to get into the elite federation of pilots (or whatever it's called) I would hope that only a small fraction reaches elite status

Oss has probably overdosed on his massive intake of Christmas socks, He's probably had to be checked into sock rehab.

Why do you think they've stuck with the same old forum software? The plan is to wait until Liqua reaches 6,399 then switch and reset everyone's post count.

It's a tough job for us moderators.
Never even notice post counts or pips nowadays.
Ashley and Michael do occasionally feed us and let us out of out cages to stretch out legs though.
