Elite Strategy Game

Just wondering if FD might ever make an Elite strategy game? Given the power play add on it might have some legs. The galaxy map seems like it would be transferable from a users point of view.

Not sure about a risk type game but at Fantasticon someone brought along some sort of ED card / role play / board game ... It was pretty cool.

I would get a traditional (i.e. Board game) type strategy game. Control minor factions, employ Commanders and raise your influence in the system to make it yours!

Or an adventure one like Tales of Arabian Knights, if you've ever played that one.

I'm working on a 2D Elite style game with strategy elements in it at them moment. You can fly from planet to planet and trade with alien species but can also build bases on planets to harvest resources and you have to defend them from attack.
