Elite wont give me the option to switch my adapter to NVIDIA

If I go into my graphics options and select adapter, it only gives me the option for INTEL(R) HD GRAPHICS 4000. I have an NVIDIA geforce gt in my laptop, but it wont let me select it. Am I just being stupid and there should only be ONE option, or is there a way to switch to NVIDIA?

For sure would feel better to see ED explicitly state that it is running on the NVidia. Mine also claims to run on the Intel, though the NVidia panel states the opposite, and I also hard-locked the ED executable to the NVidia GPU. ED is certainly not the first game hitting something buggy with Optimus, but by now I had hoped for developers to test their product on the standard laptop setup you would have purchased in the past two years...

Heya, thanks for tips, simonyee and Tiamat, appreciated. Unfortunately both suggestions "don't work", meaning my NVidia does not show up in the options, only the Intel. However, I am sure the game is actually running on the NVidia GPU, so I suspect this is only a display problem in the options menu. Since many customers seem to stumble into this, and since it does make ED look bad / buggy, I hope this to be fixed by Frontier.

Thanks again for the suggestions! Cheers!
