Anyone remember the ELO style spaceship from Out of the Blue? How about a similar shaped space station?

Personally I'd love to see Larry Niven's Ringworld somewhere:

I saw that tour as well at the CNE in Toronto all those years ago. Meatloaf opened for them. Awesome!

Even minus the Elo logo it would be nice to see a similar style craft and support ships. If Shatner can do voice packs I bet Jeff Lynne would agree to the look. Big wheels turning etc...

You've got to love how each of the shutters in that illustration would probably have more mass than the star.

I'll take it, but only if I get to tie a monofilament wire to my ship and do some low-altitude passes.
