Email Address Change Problem

I pledged to Elite Dangerous via Kickstarter almost a year ago and was receiving news and updates to the email address I used to register until late last year when I lost that email address. Although I went to my Kickstarter account and changed to my new email address, I think my pledge info at Frontier and any benefits associated with it are now stuck with the old email address because I no longer get emails.

I emailed edbackers@frontier.co.uk and got a reply from a guy called Michael who said I should email edbackers@frontier.co.uk (yes, the same address) who would 'sort it out'. I pointed out that I had sent email to that address to get his reply and he wrote back saying that was all I needed to do. It's been nearly a week and I've heard nothing.

Can anyone shed light on how to fix my problem? I'm sure I'm not alone in being in this situation.
 
Sorry can't help, but after reading that, I had an image of Monty Python. I imagine that it was a mistake on Michaels part, perhaps a bad / long day. Personally I'd email the same address again and copy in the messages from before, just to make sure they 'get it'.

Or someone else will give you better advice.
