Newcomer / Intro Email notifications

Anyone else noticing that after 4 months of never getting forum email notifications, all of a sudden (since yesterday) I am getting email notifications for every thread I even peeked at.

Will have to go into my settings and kill that s... off.

i hope this means my mobile phone isn't going to keep waking me up with little nik-nok 'new mail' noises now. yay for unbroken sleep patterns.
