Emissive Munitions increase gimballed range

i tested this out in the federal corvette. why people say it dosent do anything to gimballed weapons?
maybe because i modded the sensors for long range and thats the issue for gimballed and gets fixed with emissive munitions?
 
Sry but it isn’t clear to me what you are getting at in OP.

im talking about the emissive munitions on pulse lasers (egineer experimental upgrade) they increase the target signature. people say it only counter the silent runnig but actually helps tracking the target on gimballed weapons (expand the range they shoot) i hope you understand me
 
Emissive elevates the heat signature of the target to near maximum.

This cannot change the range of a gimballed weapon but it can help their quality of tracking, particularly at longer ranges.

it expands the field of wiew at close range and long range, but as i said maybe because i have long range sensors with decreased scan angle
 
When firing, the "out of range" warning on your HUD goes away.

I'm guessing you're hitting the target with a longer range emissive weapon. Your shorter range weapons likely aren't hitting the target, just firing and overriding the range warning with ammo counts or thermal load readouts.
