So the Emperor appeared before the senate, thus dispelling rumors that he's deceased. I wonder if we will see him as a powerplay power eventually.. hmmm. In other news, imperial slavery again appears to be pretty different from illegal slavery/

I wouldn't be surprised if the true Emperor is already dead, and the 'Emperor' that appeared before the Senate was a clone. It might be a conspiracy to establish Arissa Lavigny as the successor. Human cloning is both possible and legal within the Empire, after all.

How can he ever be a mere PP faction leader? He's da Emperor. Unless he'd deposed even that upstart Patreus is supposed to defer to him, owe him fealty and all that cool stuff.

Of course if he was deposed it might lead to outright civil war. Perhaps things are about to get interesting.
