Empire Creates Cloaked Orbital

Took this video last night and already posted it to the bugs section, but it's too good not to share.

Was taking part in the CG at Roed Odegaard Port in Brestla. I was on my 5th or 6th delivery of the evening when I jumped in to find the orbital and all NPC ships surrounding it were not visible.

Tried multiple things to get it back, panned off the station then back, closed to main menu, then eventually had to quit the game and launcher entirely to get it to work.

Sorry for the music. I was listening to Paul Van Dyk when I recorded this and YouTube had a copyright freak-out when I uploaded the vid initially.

I've encountered this quite a number of times before OP.
The fix is quite simple.

You'll have to modify a torpedo to home in on the exhaust emission of the station's primary heat exchanger. After that, target the shield impact with your pew-pew lazors and keep at it until the cloak drops.



But usually I'll take the more troublesome method of warping out and back in. What a damned hassle. If only I packed some torpedoes....

sry not everyone is a Warmonger because at some point mankind may evolve past the caveman behavior. It's not actually true progress if you just replace the club with a laser rifle.

Don't know about that. PVD does tend to get toes tapping. I have three hour sets of his that fit nicely with my game sessions, especially when exploring.
