Has anyone else had issues with these self proclaimed Empire enforcers setting up a blockade?
I was indirected last night completely unannounced by a player in an imperial courier i submitted scanned his ship it said he was wanted so i dropped chaff and ran as i had no weapons as i had stripped my python down to the bare for max cargo and jump range.
Once i had jumped he starts rambling over the comms explaining that hes a Imperial enforcer who has set up a blockade.
I told him that the next time he tries to interdirect I will respond to him as if he is a pirate and engage him with extreme prejudice.
that when his fan boys all piped up which i can only assume was apart of his wing come to his defense. but still if they're going to act without etiquette when patrolling then they're leaving themselves open for a good bumming, at least Npc's have the courtesy to announce themselves. :D

I run into people playing the story all the time in open. If you like to avoid role playing or other cmdr's role-playing and involving you I would stay out of open.it doesn't seem like it's your cup of tea.

Are you the python who combat logged like 3 times? If so then yes we announced our purpose very clearly. Oh, we also took a video of the log. If it is you, you can find the video on the Facebook combat loggers exposed page.

Think I sent one of these boys packing last night. Asked me who I was backing and gave me ten seconds to comply. "Not your business"
His little modded Viper interdicts my blockade running anaconda LOL! After the second "cooking" he left me alone ;). Role playing is fun, OP. It's the best way to go if you're in Open.

I'd feel bad for whoever interdicted me lmao, if I'm in the mood to scrap, I've got a full compliment of packhounds just waiting for em.

"Here's yer cargo!" *boosts away cackling*

Hmm no response from him. Must have been him who was logging on us. Well, just to let you know, your GT has been reported to XBOX for cheating since combat logging is classified as a cheat according to XBOX's rules.

good investigation sherlock.

That's what I was thinking. The OP states he jumped away once and had a conversation. Their side is the Commander in question encountered them 3 times, no comms chatter, and logged three times....but he's going to go ahead and report him anyways (which if he is wrong is a breach of the Microsoft reporting rules if I remember correctly). It walks like a duck and talks like a duck, but it must be the goose he is looking for.

Yes the person logged 3 times. Yes we got it on video 3 times. Now if it's this guy (the OP) who knows? Sometimes, though, it's a good idea to be slightly smarter than an idiot. Which is not seen in your post.

Does the OP's tag match the GT that you are reporting? If not then you have no case against the OP.

Now if you have video of a Cmdr in game logging and have reported that to Xbox then fair enough, you have their GT on video and the fact they logged.

But why are you getting all mouthy in here with people pointing out that the OP may not (by your own admission) be the person who logged and you have reported?

I'm getting "mouthy" because people like you are giving me attitude (which just goes to show your maturity level. Pretty sad, kid) when I, and few others, are actually taking a stand against combat loggers. I don't take kindly to kids who give me attitude. Now, if it is the OP I got on video I'm not saying because it's against forum rules to post GT's. I guess you need to do some investigating, "Sherlock".

Quotes 'maturity' with a reply like that.........

Firstly I am not a 'Kid' but thanks for the attempt at a 'mature' insult
secondly all I did was ask a question based on the evidence you have provided.
lastly you have not said at any point that the OP 'is' the person who logged on you in game, his story and yours differ, you seem to assume that he is because he hast replied, it may interest you to know that they've have been offlline since they posted the question and may not even have read this thread yet.

But hey, that's just my opinion....

Enough bickering! These CGs have been very eventful. Tonight I had a pair interdict me. The interdictor was a DBS. Not sure he was an "enforcer" but he opened fire so I returned fire and his shields went down and then his hull began going as well but he went to silent running (nice move that likely saved his skin) when of all things an orca jumps in (his wingmate) and deploys weapons. I ignore the silent DBS and open up on the Orca (targeting PP). Shields down about as quickly as the DBS but I guess the scramble spectrum on a couple of my weapons must have worked because he was dead in the water long before his PP was finished. The DBS waked out at this point and in retrospect I should have let the Orca pilot go (lesson learned) but at the time I was curious as to how quickly I could finish the job. Turns out pretty quickly. It was nice to get the heart racing a bit. After that all deliveries went smoothly without any "interference". Love this game. Wish I didn't have to go to sleep!

Sometimes you need to drop down to their level so they understand better. Otherwise it goes right over their heads.

Exactly. Sounds like you had a good time and glad you were able to defend yourself. A lot of people see CG's as a quick cash option. But where there is a lot of cash there is a lot of danger and people need to realize this. CG's aren't how they used to be, it's a good place for pirates to sit, and for factions to put up blockades to aid one side or another.
