Empire, Federation, Alliance Ship Designations

Do ships in the Elite universe have ship designations, such as FSS (Federation Space Ship) or ISS (Imperial Space Ship) or A...uhm, I think you get the point.

If things haven't changed too much since the Damocles video then for the federation it should be Federal Naval Ship or FNS. Haven't seen anything about Imperial or Alliance ships though for the Empire ISS refers to Internal Security Service (i.e. the cops)
