Fehu great right now. I do my scan jobs in a vulture with 16 cargo capacity. Works fantastically well.

I'm having tons off issues with Fehu missions for a few days now. Whenever I get close to 6b, none of my missions update. I've already lost tons of rep by having to abandon some of them


No idea what changed. Was working fine a few days ago.

Re-instance yourself, if it's not some mortal sin in your book. It won't bring you any kill missions, but I just got 6 scan missions in one go, from 540k to 1.4M.

Thanks for the feedback, I've got an Asp explorer which is why I was asking. If I got some time this weekend I'll have to see how far I can get it'd be nice to find an easier grind that can still bring in some credits.

Speaking of ranking past 100% I have this theory there is a glitch in that you get more experience on the other side of the promotion when you've hit that 100% and keep doing missions than if you ranked up and then started doing missions again. Never tested it but I'm curious as to whether or not anyone else has noticed that.

It appeared that way to me as well - either the increased requirements aren't triggered because you didn't rank up, or the rank up mission just gives you a lot more in an of itself. That's how it seemed to me, anyway.

So is the recommended ship for these missions a Python? Just out of curiosity for those of you who made Duke how many total missions do you think you ran? I'm at squire now and hoping to make Duke at some point soon however I've been running missions out of koyans and as a result haven't really been able to take advantage of stacking them.

I can tell you that I ran more than 520 missions in Aditi to go from Earl to Duke. I held my rank ups until I passed the 520 mark, and I ended up at 83% Marquis (or whatever is just before Duke). This also included a dozen or so credit donation missions. I made 150m credits, but you need a ship that has decent carrying capacity (like 200 or so) to hit that mark. Ship size did not matter.

Damn, I think I need higher exploration rank. The highest I've seen was around 900k, normally they were around 5-700k in Fehu. I'm only Pathfinder at the moment which is pretty poor.

4 loops a day (160 missions), around 40 minutes or so per loop. It was a bit numbing, for sure. The money did indeed come in handy, since it paid for most of the Cutter.

I hadn't even considered that, but you're probably right. I'm at Ranger and it must be the occasional Elite one on offer that's around the 1.5m mark.

I won't get out of my space hammock for less than half a mil.

If I already have a couple of 1m+ on board, I'll take the 200s, but no small change.

Just hit 1Bn and at 88% - three more runs...

Ah, I also will need to do some Imperial rank grinding soon. There's only a couple engineers I have left to unlock and one is in an Imperial permit system. Will check back on this thread.

Wahey, hit 100% after 2 charity donations and with 3 scans left to submit.
A last run to absolutely sure and hopefully a nice smuggling promotion job back to the core of the bubble.
