Empire Rank Progression Bugged?

Missions are working fine for me since yesterday's patch. Paying full value and I've ranked up to Squire without a hitch.

...and now they're not. Ranked up to Count, but I've had two missions which should have taken me to Earl, but gave no further progression.

You can choose to help the expansion or prepare another system. You get 10tonnes of contracts/whatevers (that's one hell of a contract!) every half hour, you can pay 100000 to get an extra 10, which is what you must have done.

Hmm, very unusual then as I didn't see any other way of obtaining the contracts, I left with 10 and no other.

Just to say that the devs have been working well to restore my account ranks today (today!) and got the ranks back, as well as the permits. Thank you devs. I hope the actual mechanism of ranking up and benefits of those ranks continues to work instead of having to check each and every account manually.

They are bugged. Just did my 6th or 7th "bring the documents to the spacestation" mission to go from Viscount to Duke, and it demoted me !!!

I have to take back my previous commit that the Empire loves me again. After receiving an in game ascension from Outsider to Serf, Serf to Master broke again and my ascension wasn't awarded.

I filed a ticket with the Ministry of Frontier Developments that included screenshots of me accepting the mission, completing the mission and receiving a pat on the back for completing. It only took 24 hours for an resolvement advisement to come through the deep space relay and the Imperial Navy to recognize me as a Master. One step closer to an Imperial Clipper!
