Employee Genetic data

Help please... I've been trying to find employee genetic data to get an engineer upgrade but cant find any anywhere. Been following threads on reddit and other sites but no joy. Any help would be most appreciated. Better yet, i'll pay if anyone has any they are willing to sell.

You can use either Biological sample, Employee genetic data or Genetic research, any combination. You can get Genetic Research from missions (that's how I got mine).

And you can steal/take Bio Samples from Agri settlements.

I am at barnards star atm in game name STRONTIUM DOG (OPEN SERVER) currently boston base
so how would I transfer jus drop them on a rock somewere?
(its not a gank trap honest)

as far as I can make out the total must be given in one hit not drips and drabs is that correct?

You want LAB ports, (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/odyssey-engineer-unlocks-and-the-bgs.587911/) for EGD, looks like a ~20% drop rate, so basically High Tech settlements are best. If you want easy access to the lab ports then you want Restore Mission https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/no-support-missions-are-not-missing.590553/

But Mission rewards is the way to go for that unlock, as others have said.

Edit: Also Agri settlements - and ofc High Tech & Agri are also good sources of Genetic Data & Bio samples

You can do it however you like. Make sure you test the surface of the drop location first. Last time I tried to give someone some SDPs they just vanished into the planet.
