Empty nav beacon?

So, erm, this is new.

Just taken a fed' naval-rank mission - assassinate a deserter.

Toddle off the designated system (G41-14).
Check into local nav-beacon (a CNB) and... it's empty.
No ships and, more importantly, no nav-beacon to scan for a mission update.

Fortunately, my target was good enough to show up in SC and bit the dust soon after but is the empty nav-beacon thing a known bug?

....the old rage quit posts lately....

Speaking of which...

Finished my EDing, tonight, after getting sent to space-jail.
I'd been doing some sketchy stuff, gathered a heap of small bounties and couldn't be bothered to find an IF so I just handed myself in.

Found myself in space-jail, a couple of thousand credits poorer, roughly 250Ly "north" of where I'd been, without a ship but still with all the bounties I'd incurred.
Hmmm.

Okay, so the bounties didn't get removed for reasons that I don't understand and I now have no ship.
Space-jail will allow me to transfer a ship or hire an Apex taxi.
My ship, as I discover, still has bounties on it so it's expensive to transfer but I have another ship 150Ly further "north" so I hire a series of taxis (usefully, unlocking one of the new engineers in the process) to take me to it.

I get to the station where my other ship is stored but I can't use it cos it's not my "current" ship.
Okay, I know how to sort that out.
I toddle off to the ship seller and try to swap to the ship I have stored there.
Nope.
I can't do that because my "current" ship (the hot one, which'll cost a heap to transfer) still has "cargo" on it.
Wait, what?
Sigh.
Okay, I'll transfer my current ship (at extortionate cost, due to the bounties).
Nope.
Can't do that immediately but if I click "confirm" the cargo will be sold and the ship can be transferred.
It's only a couple of limpets on my "current" ship so I click confirm.
I get another dialogue box telling me I can transfer my ship.
I click it.
I get another dialogue box telling me that I can't transfer my ship cos it's still got "cargo" aboard but if I click "confirm" the cargo will be sold and the ship can be transferred.
I click confirm.

Etc.

Ugh.

So, I'm now 400Ly from my "current" ship.
I can't transfer to a different ship because my "current" ship has cargo aboard.
I can't buy a new ship for the same reason.
And when I try to transfer my "current" ship the game seems to get stuck in a loop.

I'm going to have to get another bunch of taxis and fly the 400Ly back to my "current" bleedin' ship, aren't I?

Can I have 2.4 back please?
Me and ED were getting along just fine in those days. :(

There's this in the hotfix patch notes
Ambient traffic can now be expected to spawn around settlements and planetary ports or in space locations that are close to planets such as Conflict Zones & Resource Extraction Sites.
Whether nav beacons are included in that fix (are stars planets for this bug? was there an inner planet too close?) or not, I guess we'll see.
