Enable a Trial Client 7 days minimum

Hi

So while I have heard plenty of good things about this game, theres just no way in hell i'm paying 50 euro for it , without at least getting to trial it to see if its even worth it as 50 euro is far too much for even the most popular games in this day and age ... of recessions,, prices in the last 3 years keep going up despite the economies.

Nothing worse than paying high price and they finding you hate the game.

So please enable trial mode of at least 7 days.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Frontier releases the pilot training scenarios as a demo of sorts for those who would like a taste of the game.

I'm shocked on how this community changed since Beta 1 of Elite.

Once players here were dedicated to show a very high civil way of speaking and now people comment in such immature way it makes me slowly understand why people start to leave open play and go solo.

But towards first post. I think that if Frontier opens Training missions to public without the need of paying than it would be more than enough as a demo. 7 free days in game is not needed at all.

I am totally against this and let me explain why so I don't sound too nasty or uncaring.

The game is a single entity with a number of instances into which players appear when in a game. If people could just join the overall game willy nilly it would be possible for some of the "Griefers" to keep setting up "Odd accounts" and then come in for a couple of days and wreak havoc bu attacking and killing players without redress.

I think permitting access to teh tutorials would however be excellent and would definitely let people have a feel for the game, but it really would be no more than sticking the tips of your toes into the ocean as there is so much more to it once inside.

Have a look at the plethora of vids on You Tube, that will give you a feel for what the game currently is. Don't forget it isn't stationery and will develop over time as well.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
Keep it on topic and don't snipe one another and/or troll please.

Just watching others play the game sold a lot of us from alpha on. With so much now out there to see about the game, I can't see why you'd need a demo to see what it's about. And it's not like SC, where you'll need the best system out there to run it. Frankly, if you aren't that interested after watching a few gameplay videos, then it's probably not for you.

I give it a year or so. But it would be a good idea.

Like a Starter sidewinder going to hurt a tripped out cobra. Plus when they will extend the starter zone and randomize the starter zones every few days. That issue will not be a problem.
