Enable/disable building grid for entire park

Sometimes it's really hard to build big stuff symetrical so it would be awesome to have a grid you can toggle that just places a grid on your entire park, like the old rct games.

And please an option to start building on a path grid.

While I don't think this is generally a bad idea, it might pose some problems in conjunction with terrain sculpting. If the surface is not perfectly flat, the question arises on which vertial height level the grid should be displayed. There could be an option to make that adjustable, e.g. ad two hotkeys to lower / raise the global grid, but then it's not that simple anymore, but rather annoying.
In fact it is already annoying when working on tall buildings, so having seperate grids all over the place actually makes things easier, if you look at it that way.

Besides all that I would like to ask what value you are exactly getting from the "starting grid".
In which way is it different than just placing down a building, and then use its grid to lay out paths? Or just using the path grid directly?

yes we wont remove seperate grids but just an option to enable the grid for the entire park, of course you can still build other things freely with seperate grids

I understand, but I really am asking how is it different from just using the path grid from the first starting tile of the path that leads into your park.
To put it another way: You can make any grid you want the global grid, you just have to remember which one.
Or am I misunderstanding something?

well you cant select a path and start building from the grid you have to first select a grid and then build the path

if we would be able to click on any path and get a grid next to it i guess this wont really be needed as long as we have a path grid that is centered going into the park

FYI, if want that, you can easily place some grid based items at each corner of your parks land, build off that grid, and then split whatever you build from that buildings grid, or just keep it on that grid, and add to it as you please. downside, when terrain is a different height, youll have to raise the components you used to make the grid to that height.

i do also agree about building off path grids.

Thanks for the support I hope the devs will also agree with this :)
