Hi mates, I've stumbled onto something curious.

(The logbook)
3302_06_11 17:30 We have come across a large area of the galaxy in which permission to jump to is requir systems.
We are in Dryaea Free WS-J C22-11, coordinates 19080: -6: 21670 to just over 28,800 light years. Right in front of us towards human bubble all systems require permission.
We have defined the area by markers and appears to have a size of just over 1,000 cubic light years... we are somewhat scared     less.

I'd bet anything that aliens come here to colonize our bubble.

I think the DRYMAN sector is one of the known restricted areas - SKafre, there are a few of them out there (possibly more since 2.1, but I think this one had been encountered before), and to the best of my knowledge no-one knows what's inside them or has been able to enter.
The general understanding is that they're locked until things arrive to fill them in the future... :) OTOH, people have managed to enter blocked-off areas before, so you never know...

(I won't list the others, but there's a thread on the forum which names them, at least some of the older ones; if you don't mind spoilers you can search for it here. Or the sector map in my signature has some rough locations marked for them.)
