End-of-game 'Farewell animal pack'

This will probably sound funny, but I decided to share here anyway ;)
Last night I dreamt the game had come to an end. And Frontier surprised everyone with a free end-of-game animal pack, taking the community by surprise!

The announcement was very mysterious, saying that every following day a little more information would be revealed. It started with a slow animal reveal and people were very divided at first, because the day-by-day announcement started with:
  • Dromedary camel
  • Wisent
Some people were happy to receive free animals at all, and argued that players would never be happy with these animals in a paid DLC anyway, so this was the only way they could enter the game. On the other hand, you had people that were miffed that this animal pack was going to have simple reskins.
The next animal announced was:
  • Arctic fox
This made the community very happy as a whole, and now speculation started that this pack might include animals that were 'left out' of their respective DLCs. At the time, many people were upset that the Arctic wolf had been included in favor of for instance the highly desired Arctic fox. These suspicions were confirmed with the next two animals:
  • Emu
  • Fallow deer
The community was very pleased at the inclusion of the Emu, which had been passed over in the Australia DLC in favor of the Cassowary, and the inclusion of the Fallow deer, which had been passed over in the European DLC in favor of the Red deer. However, the next animal took people by surprise:
  • European rabbit
Suddenly it wasn't so clear which other animals would be included in this Farewell pack. Lots of people were happy with a small habitat animal because there were so few of them in the game, though some were displeased because 'a bunny' is uninteresting and/or too small. Some people were glad that with the inclusion of the Fallow deer and the rabbit, they could start petting zoo sections in their zoo.
  • Nubian goat
  • Ouessant sheep
The community was again very divided over these two animals, because some really disliked the idea of more domesticated animals entering the game. But those who wanted to add petting zoo sections were extremely pleased! And as it turned out, that was a lot of players. Still, more debate ensued over the chosen breeds, because people like to argue about everything ;)
8 animals had now been announced, so the community expected that this was it. Some lamented the exclusion of exhibit animals. Now the player base awaited information on final updates that would accompany this pack. However:
  • Konik
  • Tauros
The announcements declared that the final two animals in this pack would be the Konik and Tauros, a half-wild horse and cattle breed. The community was reeling at many things! Never before had an animal pack contained 10 animals. There were no exhibit animals. This horse and cattle breed weren't petting zoo animals. And the Tauros was arguably not even an actual breed, but a science project. These last two animals came as a big surprise, and people had many feelings about them, both positive and negative.
The last announcement before release said the following:
  • With the exception of the arctic fox, all animals in this pack are walkthrough animals.
  • A new type behavior would be introduced, called 'attention seek'. Certain animals would now actively seek out visitors for attention. These behaviors would include: walking up to fences and paths where visitors are watching, and interacting behaviors like leaning or standing against fences with visitors next to them, looking at visitors, vocalizing at visitors. Animals that would get 'attention seek': Fallow deer, European rabbit, Nubian goat, Ouessant sheep, Llama, Reindeer, among others.

So tell me, how would you feel if PZ ended with this as a free update?
How do you feel about these animals?
Would you buy it if this were a paid DLC?

Anyway, thanks for indulging me!
Needless to say, I was disappointed when I woke up and realized this was only a dream, lol. :p
Also, I would 100% pay for this.

The only ones I don't want are the 2 half-wild animals and the goat and the sheep.

The rest are great choices, but like you, I would pay for this as well.

And don't worry, I've had odd dreams as well. Really freaky

Besides liking all of the animals, i would highlight the "free" part, cause what ever we would get for free, any free animal would be ate up by the community, no matter what animal it is

First off, thank god I'm not the only one who has once (or maybe more than once lol) dreamed about Planet Zoo. In my opinion, this pack would be pretty disappointing to be Frontier's final pack. The animals just don't do anything to me. However, I do like the style of having animals revealed each day rather than all at once.

Yeah, I'd be enormously happy with any animals we get for free, as would everyone else I'd wager :)

I'd love extinct animals! But I'm afraid it's not something that will ever be added to PZ.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm spending too much time on the forum reading about wishlists and speculating about future content for PZ, haha :p If it gets so bad that I'm even dreaming about it!
Maybe future DLCs will be announced with more mystery, who knows :)

Well, if the game ends like Planet Coaster did it will be without any announcement or fanfare and eventually the reveal of a console edition.

The pack you've presented doesn't really tickle my fancy. The only two animals on the list I desperately want are the emu and fallow deer - the Arctic fox and dromedary are close seconds but I don't really see either as essential to the game's completeness.

I’m all for the wisent, camel, fox, and emu. The rest not so much. I would love some petting zoo animals at some point in the games life but it’s like a last request honestly. I can live without them as well tho since we got good modders it’s not a huge deal. I like the fallow deer but would much rather have the red deer although I wouldn’t complain for either.
