Wow, this community is leaving it up to me to go way out of my way to make this thread. I'm so very disappointed.
Anyway...
Here we are. A new 'Jurassic' series park builder has been finally delivered after well over a decade. There's been lots of joy, and lots of disappointments along the way over the first half-year. Whatever emotions have been triggered, the game can only continue to improve from here.... right? There's lots of time still, apparently, for this game to potentially become many players favorite game of all-time.
While many of my comments so far haven't been in the most positive light, I don't like it to be that way. I've been told that Frontier aren't diabolically attempting to take over the world, so I think that it's time to give the team a rest. This thread is for anyone that would like to mention what they've enjoyed about JWE's short journey so far the most. Or, to just wish the Frontier team all the best as we all approach another New Year. Or both.
Team Frontier, the Community Managers, and anyone else involved: You ladies and gentlemen need to try to get in some relaxation over these next couple weeks. Come back strong and super-focused and ready to take on the 'World' some more in 2019. Hope for you all to have good health, happiness, and prosperity for all these development days to come.
What have I enjoyed the most so far... ?
I'd have to say that I'm most happy for many of the YouTube content creators that have been centered entirely on dino-themed channels. Jurassic World: Evolution existing has given guys like BestInSlot some new vigor and success. That's feel good stuff to think about when genuinely good people are involved.
Also, I've been more intrigued about what the modding community has been up to more than actually playing the game myself so far. I've really enjoyed what some have done with giving us an idea what more accurate sized models look like, and of course getting a glimpse at the awesome skins that have been realized by talented individuals.
... so, how about you all?
