Endangered, missing and fan favorite farewell

Hey everyone
So got me thinking in regards to what our dlc will be in 2022
I’m putting my money on December for the next one and March for the first of 2022.
anyway I wanted t talk about the final 3 which covers some must needed animals.
I am hoping these final 3 will not be region exclusive, therefore I wanted to see what everyone opinions would be on the 3 I am about to talk about. A dlc focused on endangered animals has been discussed frequently. we have noted there are animals missing from packs from scenery pieces to mentioning and we were left wondering why _ was not in the __ pack. Plus there are random animals that we are highly seeking that may or may not have strong conservation rating but we simply would like included before the game ends.
how would you like these 3 packs to go?
I shall share my examples bellow, I am trying to aim at animals in the meta list above all else and try not to have too many from one continent at a time.

Species of concern
Iberian lynx
Prezwalskis horse
Scimitar oryx
Gibbon
Shoebill
Manned Wolf
Amur leopard
Ex axolotl

Missing/miscellaneous/forgotten additions
Capybara
Indian Jackal
Emu
Dromedary camel
Wombat
Hamadryas baboon
Tree kangaroo
Ex Jackson’s chameleon

Fan favorite/ last chance to be added farewell pack
Collared peccary
Rhea
Wolverine
Platypus
Red deer
Sea otter
Spectacled bear
Ex hellbender salamander

These are good lists, though I think "missing" is fairly subjective. Just because we don't have them in the game doesn't necessarily mean they're missing, in the sense the game feels incomplete without them. Of course they're missing in the sense they're not actually in the game, and by that definition, any animal not in the game is missing. In terms of exclusions that make a biome or region seem incomplete though that's less. South America with the Capybara. Deserts with the Dromedary. Oceania with the Emu. And to me that's really about it (one of those isn't even on my top 20 list, so it's not a matter of personal preference), at least until European animals are released - right now that whole region is truly missing.

A while back I had the idea of "Essential animals" DLC but both the Africa and NA DLC knocked out two each of my pack makeup. Remaining are Emu, Capybara, and African/Amur Leopard. But I think the idea of "Essential" is also rather subjective.

Maybe an "animals around the world" idea taking a high profile animal from each region?

Such as: Capybara (SA), Emu (Oceania), Leopard/Hamadryas Baboon (Africa), Black Bear or Raccoon (NA) Dromedary (West Asia), Gibbon/Asian Small Clawed Otter (East Asia) - since Asia is the largest continent and the biomes of the two sides of it are extremely different, and we've had a partially Asia focused pack, I could see it being split into two - That's 6 animals, so assuming something European for the 7th habitat animal and a non-Asian Exhibit animal (since they got two Habitat animals, that only seems fair)

Since you've got the Gibbon and Amur Leopard in your first idea pack for species of concern, it would make sense to keep those in that pack and put the otter as the East Asia representative.

I've always envisioned a "First Year of Planet Zoo" Pack that would include two additional animals for the first four DLC.

Originally my notes included the Arctic fox, California sea lion, and capybara, but the first two have now been added and the third is on its way so I guess I'd have to mix things up. The pack would be a higher price point and include eight habitat species and three exhibit species.

Arctic
  • Muskox.
  • Walrus.
South America
  • Maned wolf (I'd prefer the bush dog but I'll bow to community pressure here).
  • Red howler monkey (here I'd also prefer the Bolivian black-capped squirrel monkey, but once again, community pressure).
  • Emerald tree boa (E).
Australia
  • Tasmanian devil.
  • Emu.
  • Social huntsman spider (E).
Aquatic
  • Asian small-clawed otter.
  • Great white pelican.
  • Hellbender (E).

Scenery would include minor expansions to all the relevant building sets, such as theme-matching animal signs for the new animals, and some new foliage pieces thrown in.
