I was wondering when this would get a mention here. I've been following the develop of this game for a long time and crave updates regularly.

Looks interesting and very Homeworld-ish, probably due to predominant orange tone.
Why is the cockpit shaking?

Theory No. 2

As the creator is American, it may mean the pilot is riding the Valkyries at maximum volume whilst in combat.

The absence of cigar smoke wafting around that cockpit may kill that theory too.

Looks interesting: liking the clear 'fighter-like' audio indicators, slightly muffled external sounds and the background voice-comms.

Graphics look a little basic, but I guess it's early days. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

To be honest I hope the graphics stay the way they are. I love the simple, minimalistic stylised approach (a product of doing all the art himself btw). I would hate to see typical sci-fi game greebly textures and pointless detail.

I certainly agree that some games go needlessly OTT with the widgets and stuff, and I didn't realise it was a one man effort - that's impressive. Ship design's great too.

He's certainly got a great atmosphere going there, even from that youtube vid, it feels like a claustrophobic space fighter engaging the enemy.

Technically you're the enemy, hence the name. One of the reward loops in the game is to kill escape pods as they pop from your prey, earning you more money. If you have auto turrets they do that work for you too. Apparently big capital ships that go down are like piñatas for it.

I really dig the style of this one. As Neo-ST said, looks like you get sucked into Homeworld. Very cool!

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.

I'm completely the opposite! :) I adore greebles. Love the old 70s style sci-fi modeling with kit bashing and pointless details. To each their own I suppose. :)

I've been following this game (on and off) since I heard about it in late 2012. As someone who cut his videogaming teeth on X-Wing/TIE Fighter and Homeworld, Enemy Starfighter is right up my street.

Since it's being coded by one guy on his own and I like the genre, I'll probably be buying this whenever it is released later this year. (Have lost all interest in console gaming since, er, I'm in my 40's and should be thinking about gardening and what happened to my pension...)
