Energylink gun not working when overloading

Hello all. Cranked up the game for first time. I went to the power station, cut the access panel, used the Energylink gun and it would not open airlock. Was told I had to overcharge the access panel and when I used the Energylink gun, nothing happened. I get the arrows on the gun itself.

Have you changed the mode on the energy link?

With the Energylink selected, switch to the overload setting (default R). Then press and hold the fire button to power it up.

I hit the same problem tonight there are modes. Default on keyboard is R.

Also, as I learned just recently, your energy pool needs to be above 20% (which makes a lot of sense, btw but is not very well documented - if at all)

This, though I think it's closer to 30% as it just happened to me. It might be dependent on the power percentage the overload charge uses relative to your suit's battery size, so mods like the one that increases your suit's battery might affect this.
