Engine Detailing?

While playing around with my Anaconda's new Nameplates, I discovered this in the livery screen all the way on the bottom under weapon color:

Engine Detailing

Apparently this might be a new Store item for sale? Anyone have any Details on the Detailing? (I'm gonna guess its different engine exhaust colors like the weapon colors?)

Engine colours on/off control was there since forever. In fact since same control for weapon colour. So it's just a question of time really.

Something else they didn't show in the livestreams, which means they probably haven't made it yet (like the rumored FdL ship kit).

I'm guessing 2 months minimum for us to get both.

You`re not alone, i never noticed it until 2.3 either. i was kinda hoping it was some kind of aesthetic that let you look at the ship`s engines and even add extras to it, like a car!

How long until the first player group "Elite Red Arrows" team is formed after engine colours are put in store? (That paired with the new camera suite)

I'm imagining a squadron of Eagles with fancy paint jobs and the full rainbow of engine and weapon colors flying in formation over surface ports. Glorious.

I might just be getting mixed up because of all the game file perusing I've been doing, but I think engine colours were there in the beta install.

You're probably right about the long wait for release though.
